🌱 Sansitech – Smart Connected Agriculture for Higher Yields and Lower Risk
The Problem We Are Solving
Farmers often make critical decisions with limited real-time data.
Irrigation is sometimes based on intuition.
Temperature shifts go unnoticed.
Fire risks are detected too late.
This can lead to:
- Water waste
- Lower yields
- Higher operating costs
- Crop loss due to preventable risks
Agriculture should not rely on guesswork. It should rely on data.
Our Vision
Sansitech is a smart agriculture platform that combines IoT sensors, artificial intelligence, and a mobile-first interface to help farmers monitor, predict, and automate field operations in real time.
Our goal is simple:
Give farmers full visibility and intelligent control over their fields — anytime, anywhere.
What We Built
Sansitech is an end-to-end system composed of four main layers:
1️⃣ IoT Field Monitoring
We deploy ESP32-based smart sensor nodes in agricultural fields.
These sensors collect:
- 🌡️ Ambient and soil temperature
- 💧 Soil moisture levels
- 🔥 Flame detection (early fire risk alert)
Data is transmitted securely using MQTT protocol to the cloud.
2️⃣ Cloud Infrastructure
We use:
- Supabase for backend and database
- MQTT broker for real-time IoT data streaming
This enables:
- Live data ingestion
- Historical storage
- Scalable infrastructure
- Secure API access
3️⃣ AI & Intelligent Recommendations
Using Python-based machine learning models, we analyze:
- Soil moisture trends
- Temperature fluctuations
- Environmental patterns
The AI generates:
- Smart irrigation timing recommendations
- Anomaly detection alerts
- Predictive insights for optimal crop conditions
Example:
“Optimal irrigation recommended in 2 hours.”
Instead of reacting to problems, farmers act before they happen.
4️⃣ Mobile & Web Interface
We built:
- 📱 A Flutter mobile app for real-time monitoring
- 🖥️ A Next.js web dashboard (in progress for advanced management)
Features include:
- Live field status dashboard
- Interactive trend graphs
- Smart alerts & push notifications
- Automation triggers (irrigation, ventilation, etc.)
The interface is designed to be intuitive and accessible even for non-technical users.
