Project Concept

🌱 Sansitech – Smart Connected Agriculture for Higher Yields and Lower Risk

The Problem We Are Solving

Farmers often make critical decisions with limited real-time data.
Irrigation is sometimes based on intuition.
Temperature shifts go unnoticed.
Fire risks are detected too late.

This can lead to:

  • Water waste
  • Lower yields
  • Higher operating costs
  • Crop loss due to preventable risks

Agriculture should not rely on guesswork. It should rely on data.


Our Vision

Sansitech is a smart agriculture platform that combines IoT sensors, artificial intelligence, and a mobile-first interface to help farmers monitor, predict, and automate field operations in real time.

Our goal is simple:

Give farmers full visibility and intelligent control over their fields — anytime, anywhere.


What We Built

Sansitech is an end-to-end system composed of four main layers:

1️⃣ IoT Field Monitoring

We deploy ESP32-based smart sensor nodes in agricultural fields.
These sensors collect:

  • 🌡️ Ambient and soil temperature
  • 💧 Soil moisture levels
  • 🔥 Flame detection (early fire risk alert)

Data is transmitted securely using MQTT protocol to the cloud.


2️⃣ Cloud Infrastructure

We use:

  • Supabase for backend and database
  • MQTT broker for real-time IoT data streaming

This enables:

  • Live data ingestion
  • Historical storage
  • Scalable infrastructure
  • Secure API access

3️⃣ AI & Intelligent Recommendations

Using Python-based machine learning models, we analyze:

  • Soil moisture trends
  • Temperature fluctuations
  • Environmental patterns

The AI generates:

  • Smart irrigation timing recommendations
  • Anomaly detection alerts
  • Predictive insights for optimal crop conditions

Example:

“Optimal irrigation recommended in 2 hours.”

Instead of reacting to problems, farmers act before they happen.


4️⃣ Mobile & Web Interface

We built:

  • 📱 A Flutter mobile app for real-time monitoring
  • 🖥️ A Next.js web dashboard (in progress for advanced management)

Features include:

  • Live field status dashboard
  • Interactive trend graphs
  • Smart alerts & push notifications
  • Automation triggers (irrigation, ventilation, etc.)

The interface is designed to be intuitive and accessible even for non-technical users.

Amadou Koulibaly is the Directeur Informatique and founder of SansiTech, an agritech company focused on smart agriculture, IoT and data-driven farming solutions. He is a Full-Stack & Mobile developer specialized in Next.js (front-end), Django (back-end) and Flutter (cross-platform mobile), with hands-on experience designing IoT solutions and microcontroller-based automation for real-time monitoring. Previously he co-founded Jamaanu Digital and has worked as a self-employed developer and at Orange. He holds an Attestation de formation in Data Collection from Orange Digital Center and is a mid-to-senior level technical leader (founder / director) focused on building production web, mobile and IoT systems for agriculture.

Abou SOUMAH

Ingenieur Électronique et IOT
Abou Soumah is an early-career IoT and embedded electronics technician based in Conakry, Guinea. He is currently a Tecnicien IoT et Électronique at SANSITECH and previously served as a stagiaire IoT at Orange Guinée during the Orange Summer Challenge 2024. He holds a Licence in Physique Électronique from Gamal Abdel Nasser University of Conakry, a Brevet de Technicien Supérieur (BTS) in Système Embarqué from Ecole d'ingenierie de Guinée, and a certificate in web development from Programme D-CLIC. He focuses on hardware selection, assembly, prototyping, maintenance and web development, with a strong interest in robotics and technology.
