Robotics for Good Youth Challenge: Guinea National Qualifier

Guinea National Qualifier: Building for Food Security
The Robotics for Good Youth Challenge Guinea is the official national qualifying tournament for the leading UN-based global robotics championship. We are convening 16 teams of builders aged 10 to 18 to design, build, and program autonomous solutions addressing critical challenges in agriculture and food security.
This is a technical competition focused on practical robotics and engineering. Guinean teams will showcase their skills on the competition game board, with winners from the junior and senior categories earning a place at the Grand Finale in Geneva during the AI for Good Global Summit 2026.
🛠️ Technical Focus: Robotics and Agriculture
Participants are tasked with developing robots that can complete specific missions related to food security. The competition emphasizes the use of free and open-source software and hardware, allowing for unrestricted assembly and programming.
- Hardware: Open platform (LEGO, Arduino, or custom builds).
- Software: Autonomous programming (Python, C++, or block-based logic).
- Missions: Real-world agriculture scenarios requiring precision and robust code.
